"The Rescue Team heart goes out to the homeless who survive day by day with no shelter and to those who don't have access to resources or the financial means to survive and support their family."
The Rescue Team was founded in 2019 by Mr and Mrs Alan Rivera. The inspiration of creating this agency begin during the year of 2018. Alan had a near death work related accident and worker comp disability payments were $60 twice a month due to his employer providing a false wage report. During this legal fight, the Rivera family were ground breaking close to becoming homeless with three very small children.

The Riveras seeked assistance from government programs but majority of those programs they did not qualify for or just wasn't enough to support a family of five. Mrs Rivera was pregnant with their third child and given birth during this course of time.

The family found several non-profit agencies that provided assistance with past due rent, bill payments, diapers, baby necessities, birth certificates, Christmas gifts for their children, food for Thanksgiving and more. With the help of the agencies, family and friends, The Riveras were able to survive the hard times.
The Riveras decided to create the Rescue Team and build their own Non-profit agency to give to those who are seeking immediate essential relief. The difference with Gifted By Helping Hands is that we do not refuse to help anyone based upon their status or current situation.
